A plot symbol represents plotted data points in scatter, line, QC, and polar graphs. Plot symbol attributes you can change include line color, width, and style, and symbol fill, border, style, and diameter.
Step 1
In a graph legend, double-click a plot symbol, or select a graph and choose Plot Symbol from the Graph Attributes submenu (Graph menu).
Step 2
In the upper-left corner of the Plot Symbol Attributes dialog, select the data series for which you want to change plot symbol attributes. (Plot symbols selected in the graph window are highlighted.)
• Shift-click to select multiple contiguous series, or Command-click to select discontiguous series.
Step 3
Specify the plot symbol attributes you want to apply to the selected series.
Step 4
Click the Show button to preview your selections without exiting the dialog.
Step 5
Click OK to exit the dialog and apply your changes to the plot symbols.
